I asked him to provide me with the link so I could check it out
(in a non-yahoo e-mail). He didn't reply. Are you saying there is
no website with the scales? Is it in new versions of the software
only? How often does the software come out?

I wasn't aware that you didn't know where the archive is.
http://www.xs4all.nl/~huygensf/doc/scales.zip

Releasing updates is rather a background activity, usually
a few months between them, so you will indeed find your scale
in the next one.
