mclaren's CPS scale again

I've already mentioned that despite Brian's frequent
CPS mistakes, his 12-tone 4|8 [1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8] scale
is correct, and what's more it's another 2-hexany
plus 2 tones scale in the 7-limit...

If you're interested in these you might try it out, but
don't forget to try some of the other versions of this that
have been floating around here lately, such as Wilson's
"class" scale. This one has more 5ths, but also two
27-cent commas (between 21/16 and 4/3, and 105/64 and 5/3).

***Well, this is very interesting, Carl... somewhat similar to my
_Violahexy_ scale but it manages to get *two* utonal tetrads in it as
well as the two otonal ones...

Aaron has several good 12-note options now, so it seems...

I would add quite a few tempered options to the list, such as my
three 12-of-22-equal keyboard mappings, a meantone, and of course
quite a few other tempered systems . . .

Apparently an Euler genus, Manuel has it listed as this:

Speaking of keyboard mappings, Manuel has been trying to help me in
my quest for realtime midi MTS messages, so far without success. He
told me to check out keyboard mappings, and if someone can explain
how these work and especially how you can use them in tuning, I'm all
ears.
