blackjack trapazoids

One more short post on Blackjack harmony. I'm finding the chords
related by 7, such as:

2:7/3:3:7/2 such as A>:C:E>:G to be quite pleasant and *very*
characteristic in *my* view of the "Blackjack sound..."

They also make a nice "underlying trapazoid", on the lattice, if
that's what the figure is...

I'm finding, though, that I don't "get" the connections of the 11
limit chords, the 11-limit "asses" and such like.

(Maybe we should have saved Kyles rat-one... :)

Most probably that's just because the 11-limit lines aren't shown on
the lattice... I guess that would make it a pretty complex visual...

a "subminor seventh" chord . . . *very* smooth.

a parallelogram?

well, if it helps, 11:8 is the interval between the uppermost note
and the lowermost note of any hexany (complete or incomplete) on the
lattice. see those hexanies? see those 11:8 intervals? if not, you
can try wrapping your brain around dave keenan's or graham breed's
11-limit blackjack lattices . . .

***Yes, it's also one of my favorites...

***Ahem, ahem... yes... it's been a while, thanks...

***THIS IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! OHMYGOD! I didn't even notice
those fantastic hexanies!!! Hiding there between the otonal and
utonal tetrads!!! Wunderbar! This is great.

So you mean, of course, that the 11:8 pitches would be, for example
C:F] yes?

I happen to pretty much know that's correct, since I remember the 11
as being almost, but not quite an F#.

THANKS, PAUL!!!!
