Hi Paul,

Isn't C#v:F<:B[:G< the "Magic Chord" in the "standard" key of
Blackjack??

Thanks!

surely there's more than one . . . as you can see on the lattice

http://www.uq.net.au/~zzdkeena/Music/Miracle/Blackjack7LatticeGD.gif

you also have Eb^:G:C#v:A, Ab^:C:F#v:D, D:F#v:C<:G#v, G:Bv:F<:C#v,
B[:D>:Ab^:E>, C<:E[:A>:F], any more?

***Thanks, Paul. I guess also A>:Db^:G:Eb^

It's great that Dave Keenan keeps that lattice up on his website. I
had momentarily forgotten where it was, then found it again. It's
easy to print it out in color, and it comes out pretty nicely, too,
even with an inexpensive ink jet...

I think it would be worthwhile to make a lattice diagram of miracle
on the 7-limit cubic lattice of tetrads. It wouldn't show all the
chords Joe is interested in, but it would be easier to read and might
help people orient themselves harmonically.
