Where's the soprano? All I hear are synths.

***You are right, David! On the radio station it mentions that this
is just the *prototype* and not the actual piece with soprano, but I
forgot to mention this in my Tuning List post...

It's very nice, even without an actual soprano! I put together a
Blackjack record by alternating the four tracks you have up on Radio
Free Blackjack, together with my Rachmaninov, Stained Glass and
Saxfare pieces. Anyone wanting to understand what Blackjack is about
might try this approach, as the possibilities inherent in these 21
notes really hits you when you have a CD full of it and listen to it
in one sitting.

Incidentally, Stained Glass can still be linked to, and I wonder, Joe,
if you would put a link to it up on the Blackjack page?

***Thanks so much, Gene, for the nice comments, which I appreciate...

***This has been done, and _Stained Glass_ is now on "Radio Free
Blackjack..."

If only I was conservatory trained, I could do better than "groovy",
but I'm glad you appreciate that much. I think you are really on to
something with your 72-et thing. I may try adding a note, and seeing
how 22 tones of miracle works for me. Do 20 or 22 notes of miracle get
names, I wonder?

***I happen to agree that one can actually *hear* the result of
training in music...

However, there is still hope. My personal mentor (and many others)
the distinguished composer Otto Luening never studied formally in a
school. He was privately taught.

You can still study with a composition teacher, and you will *wow*
them with your math skills. Composers are easily intimidated by
stuff like that... :)
