Paul,

There are two files in the terrain directory I uploaded for you; if you want them removed, let me know. They aren't anything I'm using, that's for sure...

Cheers,
Jon

i'll remove the one *i* uploaded, since that's the big one
(97KB) . . . oh wait, i tried to do this already, in fact i tried
just about every permutation of membership options and could not
delete this file (and many others). in fact, i think i just said this
here yesterday or today :)

It's been a long day and my head hurts. Try to be helpful here:

How would I know what is "jon's" file? And you do realize how confusing it is to talk to "Jon" about "Jon's" files. Do you want me to remove the waves_small.jpg?

Cheers,
Jon

I assume the reason is you weren't always wallyesterpaulrus.
Still remember your emotionaljourney22 and Paul Erlich (or
whatever) passwords? The former at least is still active.

One shouldn't be able to delete a file that he
didn't originate. That's your problem.

But Joe is right, we should get Mark to
create a few more moderators, as we have on
tuning-math.

thanks carl, they're all under the same password/username combination,
and no matter which one i select, i can't delete the old files.

Oh dear.

I meant that your current profile didn't originate
the files you want to delete. But this *isn't* your
problem, per your previous mail.

Hi Paul Erlich ??

Good day!

You know something....I didn't make the connection! When I asked you
for a shorter name (and you responded "Paul"), I didn't realize that
you are "The" Paul Erlich. If this is the case, I've been posting
messages to you going waaaaay back.

I was also wondering whatever happened to "emotionaljourney22". That
was you too?

Most times, I wonder what happened to members who contributed so much
and then just seem to disappear. Maybe they are also under a
different name?

I too added to the confusion when I was calling myself "Wally".
Wally is the name I grew up with. Its "short" for Walter. I stoppped
using it on the tuning group to avoid confusion with your present
name "Wallyesterpaulrus". I'm cool with using "Walter".

I've also tried to change "electricwally77" which is my Yahoo ID. I
used that name for a web page I had on teaching "slide guitar". Yahoo
won't let me change it unless I create a whole new profile. Oh well...

Maybe we could all somehow use a "solid" identity of some sort so we
all know who's who? But then again, maybe a floating "identity" is
what some prefer. That's cool too.

Not that any of the above really matters. Just a thought. Now back to
tuning!

***Maybe we could all just use some semblance of our names. This is
a very radical thought...
