a couple other good places to post files

Remember "Tuning 2": The list that Robert Walker maintains of all
the groups??

There's only 4K of file space used out of 20Megs currently:

/Tuning2/

And then, *another* group that Robert started actually has ZERO K
used of the 20Meg allotment:

/tuning_gossip/

No reason to start up *another* Tuning group for file space when
these are available and unused...

40 Megs ought to be enough for a few sound files for a while, unless
they're really long...

I recall that several months ago, perhaps around the time when we
were discussing moving the tuning list, that we brought up the the
problem of limited file space, and someone suggested that Tuning2
would be a good place to use.

However, a warning was quickly issued (I don't remember by whom) not
to put any files there for some reason or other (possibly because it
could not be guaranteed that they wouldn't disappear).

So until we can locate the posting and get more info, I would advise
that Tuning2 not be used.

the moderator of these groups was not at all pleased the last time
someone tried to upload a file there. just create your own group!
