Sonic Arts website temporarily offline

as paul reported, i'm sorry to confirm that my site,
the Tuning Dictionary, and the whole Sonic Arts website
is indeed temporarily down.

problem with the account ... i'm in consultation with
Jonathan Glasier about it and will resolve ASAP.

if anyone is really desperate for definitions, there's
a very old version of the Dictionary mirrored here:
http://www.orguefrance.org/define.htm

(unauthorized and outdated ... but right now i'm glad
someone did it!)

***Sorry to hear this, Monz. I'm assuming you kept your own
*personal* copy of all your Webpages. (Let's hope!)

Hi Monz

I've been meaning to ask. How do I get the new dictionary entries, which I've been saving for a
while, to integrate with my original dictionary download from about a year age? Thanks.

Kind Regards

hi Alison,

all of the Tuning Dictionary entries are simply added
to the same directory/folder, so if you've saved new
ones and you put them in the same directory, all you
should need to do is to keep saving the latest version
of the "index.htm" page to access them.

be aware, however, that many Dictionary entries have
links to other pages on my site, and those links won't
work if you don't have those pages and if they're not
stored in the properly named/structured directories.

but for use of the basic Dictionary itself, just keep
everything in the same directory and it should work.
