For those interested in 3-D (anaglyphic) lattice diagrams, Joe Monzo has
posted a couple of mine at
http://www.ixpres.com/interval/chalmers/diagrams.htm. The effect for the
7-limit structures in pretty good, despite the fact that TrueBasic,
which I used to generate these, does not appear to allow one to insert a
mixed color where the red and cyan (or blue) lines overlap and I haven't
had the time to do it by hand in graphics editing program.

With the exception of hexads, a tesseract (16-tones), and similar
simpler structures, the 11-limit lattices were more confusing than
helpful because the underlying lattices were planar projections to begin
with.

I can email further examples to anyone interested or post them at the
tuning list site. Red-blue or red-cyan glasses are needed.

***There's an extra "period" on John's link here which is giving
an "Error 404..." One can't see it, since it's hidden behind the ad
(!)

The correct link, I believe, is:

http://www.ixpres.com/interval/chalmers/diagrams.htm

very neat...

Hi John,

I just tried twice to go see your anaglyphic lattice
diagrams, but both times I got a screen saying that
the page "cannot be found"! I thought you might like
to know.

The original posting had a "." at the end of the link - does this link do it for you?:

http://www.ixpres.com/interval/chalmers/diagrams.htm

Cheers,
Jon

Like a charm!

Thanks, Jon
