Then you are still missing my point. That I do not compose in straight just
intonation should be your first hint. Just is a point of reference that
affects everything in music on some level. How it is used or compromised has
a huge bearing on its effect. I have tried to point out this effect in words
to little avail, alas. I am not saying it is greater than anything else,
only that it is an undeniable essence of microtonality.

Your brief somersault is often much worse in an unsafe environment, like most
music departments of the past. Right now, microtonality is more in vogue in
academia than music composition as a genuine field or career. (at least as
you and I usually mean it.)

really dumping on 72 as a *tuning* per se, but only pointing out the
special attributes of Just...
