You da man, Monz. Everybody just *assuming* this is OK with Rick? I
seem to remember something about that angle, but have forgotten the
details...

Cheers,
Jon

clearly he should be credited as the author of the page, in nice big
letters right at the top.

****That's fast work, Monz! And it's great to have it with all your
other pages. Please don't forget to *index* it somehow... :)

if you go to monz's et definition page, look under 72, and click on
rick tagawa, you're directed to the *old* url . . . clearly this
could be updated . . .

****Right. It no longer works. This is the place for it.

However, *personally* I think 72-tET is so important it should have
it's *own* dictionary entry: Seventy-Two Equal Temperament... :)

****Whoops. I *thought* I'd seen that before.

Well, *that* has the most prominent "Tagawa" link that needs to be
updated...

now that's that been done, i have a comment about this page:

it says that 72-equal "contains within it several versions of tunings
from the MIRACLE family of temperaments."

i must disagree, and say that 72-equal contains only *one* version of
MIRACLE temperament (albeit a nearly optimal one by any measure). i
don't know what monz was thinking here -- this is no different than
31-equal containing only *one* version of meantone temperament,
etc. . .

***He must have just meant "several different kinds of scales"
derived from the MIRACLE temperament, yes??
