How does one unsubscribe

Following the expulsion of Computing from Maths here my email address
has changed, but while I have managed to subscribe in the new address
I cannot unsubscribe the old one (which is still valid, so I am
getting each message twice)

Anyone have any ideas?

Not that this is really any of my business, but I was wondering what
was meant by this. Are computing posts and programs currently
excluded from the "Tuning Math" list?? That seems rather silly.
Frankly, I was happier, personally, when everything was on one *big*
list, but I was clearly outvoted...

Probably, John, the best way to "tweak" your various subscriptions is
to go to the Yahoogroups "My Groups" web-based interface and adjust
them from there. At least I *think* that's best...

No, I believe John is referring to his university departments, and
that the Computing classes or department has been separated from the
Math(s) department, and his email account has probably changed
because of it, causing an inability to suspend an account.

Or something similar.

I still have access to my old account in maths but I have send the
unsubscribe message three times with zero effect. I was merely
enquiring what one does next. I have tried using the web interface as
well, but it starts asking for passwords which I do not have, and the
terminology of the pages is not in the language I speak.

So to repeat, how does one unsubscribe?

I see you're subscribed three times:

J.P.FFITCH@M... since December 1998
jpff@c... since September 2001
jpff@m... since May 2001

It's possible that your outgoing address has changed independent
of your account. In that case I don't see a way to unsubscribe
since you haven't set up a Yahoo account. Unsubscribing via
email doesn't work if the email address is not exactly the same
as it was when you subscribed. Then the only way is to contact
Mark Nowitzky, this list's moderator, to do it for you.
