Many thanks to Klaus Schmirler for his work on improving
my English translation of Willi Mllendorf's book
_Music with quarter-tones: Experiences at the bichromatic
harmonium_, which was part of my Microfest 2001 presentation
at Pomona, CA in April.

Klaus has finished the Preface and the first few chapters,
up to the one presenting the keyboard diagram. The rest of
the chapters are still in my very poor English version.

It begins here and has links for previous and subsequent
chapters at the bottom of each page:

Congrats to Joe Monzo for *at last* getting a *native* German speaker
to help him translate these articles! I'm sorry I had to "complain"
about it before, but really word to word "translation" (actually more
akin to "transliteration") doesn't work. I just realize this in some
translations from Russian from my friend and list participant Anton
Rovner. They are also not "word for word" and for good reason...

Viel gedanke, Monz... this is a great improvement!
