19 tone is killer for jazz harmony/root movement; you can get some
really deceptive sounding movement happening. Check out "Vilano," by
Ernie Crews, on the "tuning@eartha" CD to hear it. I think jazz theory
wil translate to 31 and 34, too, not to mention 53. The comma in 34
would add some serious twists to "usual" progressions. Playing 34 in the
play "Inna Beginning" for 2 1/2 months showed me some future
possibilities for 34...I think it's a marvelous eq temp...Hstick

Yeah, Neil... _Vilano_ is really awesome. I love what
you guys did with Ernies "sketch". Can I get a score?
I'd love to make an analysis of that tune.

I might also mention the great fun Johnny Lobster has
with weird 19-tone chord progressions in _Citified Notions_
and _Limp Off To School_. ;-)
