Hello....my name is Norm Howard....this is my "virgin" post so go
easy on me! For wild post-Hendrixian guitar sounds please check out
my webpage at: http://www.onmusic.com/nands/
Any "feedback" is welcome.....be sure to check out the sound-paintings
to bend your ears......we also "prepare" or assault our guitars with
drumsticks, safety pins and more!

Although I've been aware of microtonality for years I've just
discovered it's beauty & potential...I want to throw my old guitars
in the garbage(joking!) and get me a 19 & 31 fret baby! Help!!!!!
Some of you guys have some incredible stuff out there and archive
posts are very informative! I tend to lean towards more free jazz-
improv and atonal playing...I've been experimenting playing various
keys against each other & I think this has led me to the microtonal
soundscape..........looking forward to lots more...wow!!!!!!!!

Thanks! N

Hello Norm Howard! Welcome to the Tuning List! Since Paul Erlich,
our tuning "guru" and "semi-official" greeter is no longer with us...
(I mean, he's OK and everything, just off on an important personal
project at the moment) I would like to extend a warm welcome to the
strange and fascinating land of xenharmonics (alternate tunings...)
