I have discovered that tapping, with my thumb, on my German
shepherd's nose produces a pleasant, full tone, with pitch variations as
you move away from the head area. A collection of doggie noses would
most likely make a marvelous percussion instrument...Hstick PS.. she
seems to enjoy it, too...

Can you please come to my house and
clean up the mouthful of tea I just spewed
all over my keyboard upon reading your post?

Sincerely,

Jeff

Hello Neil!

Without a doubt, I believe you should receive a prize for the
"wildest" post subject line.

dog snouts

Actually, I'm thinking about calling ALL my posts from here on out
"dog snouts..."

You know, it's something to take quite seriously. Do people really
appreciate the SENSITIVITY of the true dog snout?? (And I don't mean
Feuersnot... that was by Strauss...)

The dogs in my highrise actually KNOW their own FLOORS by smell...
I'm assuming, of course, that they can't read the elevator floor
numbers....

It's incredible.

Could you imagine if we had the sensitity to SOUND that these
creatures have for SMELL!!

What amazing microtonal music we would write! And the entire world
would soon get "on the scent"!!!

The above is not science, but true "dogsh_t" as Nikita Kruschev was
to call the "decadent abstract" artists of CCCP time!
