I'm very sorry that Paul E withdrew his name - I think he'd be perfect.
(BTW, Paul, thanks for your time on this list, hope you return soon!).

I'll volunteer if no one does. But, I'm sure there are others who would
be much better suited to the task:

. From an academic standpoint, I'm a musical diletante. Editing
decisions would be better made by someone with a solid formal
musical background.

. My HTML skills are very basic. I know how to create a hyper-link,
and a couple of other keywords, and that's IT.

Robert Walker has been nominated, and I'm sure he'd be fine. Robert,
will you volunteer? Margo? Daniel Wolf? How about some other names?
Everyone, please jump forward and make yourselves known!

Actually, this is, unfortunately, kind of funny. Frankly, I believe
the "formal musical background" is really not going to make all that
much difference (!!) I managed, myself, to get a so-called "advanced
degree" in music and I attended a couple of so-called "respectible"
schools and I managed to learn VIRTUALLY NOTHING about tuning, except
in a piano-tuning course (the most practical thing I took...)

I would like to believe a "formal musical education" would be an
important pre-requisite for a FAQ editor on tuning but, based upon my
personal experience, I don't believe (unfortunately) it does...
