tales from the crypt

This is very funny so, unfortunately, I had to post it.

Jeff Scott noticed the little line I generally write under my name
and wrote this to me privately:

>Anyway, after seeing the following many
times:
_________ ____ _____ ___
Joseph Pehrson

I counted and found:

123456789 1234 12345 123
_________ ____ _____ ___

And I thought -- "I wonder if Joseph is sending
us a secret message that he is using some tuning
like: 9/4,9/5,9/3,4/5,4/3,5/3 ?"

>I felt sure you would confirm my suspicions and
congratulate me for being the first to notice
ever since you started doing that 19 odd years ago.

>But since your response I noticed that you don't always
use the same pattern. :<

That's pretty funny, Jeff. I guess I started using that little
"dividing line" to separate my "signature" after I first started on
the list... It didn't mean much, but I guess I WAS thinking a little
of string lengths and proportions for sound, and that's about all it
meant... Glad to see you have found more significance in it.

Well, back to tuning...

Hi Swifty!

Well, I have been "realizing" some stuff, and I've been in contact
with John ffitch, but my current time has been spent learning some
Russian since I will appear on several concerts there next month.

However, I fully intend to work some more with it... so, undoubtedly,
I will be asking some more questions!
