micro disappointment

I'm a little disappointed that John deLaubenfels and Paul Erlich are
not giving papers in the upcoming MicroFest in Claremont. They're
two people whom I believe could give DYNAMITE papers... well, not
"bomb making" but I mean on tuning...

Thanks, Joseph -- I wish I could be there, but I'm kind of tied down in
Boston right now, with work and with the band . . . perhaps I could send
over a copy of the latest revision of my 22-tone paper, and photocopies
could be given out to all attendees . . . Bill?

Actually, I've been wanting to get ahold of a hard copy of this
paper, since my computer freaks out every time I try to print the
PDF...

But, of course, distributing the papers is not at all like a real
physical presentation. In particular, I think a projected chart of
the various consonance levels for the ET's would be a big hit...
(Well, maybe not with the JI crowd, but with others...)

Hi Alison -- I'm talking about the paper I'm sure you're already familiar with (or so I thought):

http://www-math.cudenver.edu/~jstarret/22ALL.pdf

The figures are at the end, but there are some errors that need to be corrected -- including all of
page 20, which should be deleted . . .

Ah yes, I misunderstood and thought there was a new paper in the wings. Thanks all the same.

Best Wishes

Hello Joseph,
I had trouble printing out a PDF file recently. I fixed that by
downloading version 4.0 of Acrobat.
