Hi Monz,

The site with the nice Necker cube applet has a digital orrery too at:
http://www.gifford.co.uk/~principia/orrery.htm
Could be a good starting point for the FTS one.

You can set it to now, and run forward or reverse.

Imagine using gifs of the actual planets, starry backdrop, the planets a
little larger perhaps (or option to change their size) and add in a comet
gif as well, and there you are.

On looking at this one, I imagine it is perhaps not nec. to go into 3D,
which will simplify the programming a little bit.

This is great! A real "multimedia" expansion of this project!
