They were saving him as a "chrismas present" i guess
maybe if he gives them some fake or real data on Syria they might go easy on
him

actually thinking this was done though close family members, it probably was a
'surrender' that had been worked out.

My first thought this morning.

Remember when we talked at AFMM, 11/11/2000 and I expressed my
thoughts about how Georges daddy was the ex-director of the CIA????

Not cool...

hi Kraig,

ha! you and i sure are thinking alike on this one!

as soon as i saw the video footage of the bearded,
captured Sadaam on the TV news this morning, my first
thought was "oh sure ... they've had him all along and
now they let out the news at an opportune time".

of course, the cynical side of me also believe that
they've already captured Osama bin Laden too ... and
they're going to save *that* news for late next year
when they need to pull it out to get votes for Bush.

I think they are saving Osama for his THIRD term.

BTW even though he claimed responsibility for th WTC
the only info he provided was what ywe all heard on televison.
When people go into a police station and confess, they require some piece
to prove he was involved,
OBL has said nothing we didn't already know.
Possibly he could feel he increases his statue by both claiming
responsibility and diverting attention from the real people who did it.
As pointed out on a recent post, there were no Arabs on the flight 77
passenger List.

Come now, Kraig, using Osama for your anit-Bush tirades. Can you prove their
relationship? (just kidding ;)

He was bragging about it to people in a video that was broadcast several
times. I am not a jury, I make my responses, as do millions, on a gut, visceral
level. Bin Laden was quite proud of his taking down the two towers completely.
Tough act to follow.

An open admission really clouds this, though, doesn't it?

That's pretty inside out, Kraig. Bin Laden's stature is in a desert
hideaway, hopefully a little better furnished than the last one of Sadam Hussein. I
think calling bin Laden a liar is do diminish the tragedy. I do agree he has
been diverting attention and I wish he would stop.

I don't get this...so what? Arabs killing Arabs is common enough...what am I
missing about its importance in the composition of the population of flight
77?

best, Johnny

they are business partners

But his language was exactly word for word what they were saying on TV
almost like he
was Mocking it. He didn;t even change the phrasing of his discriptions.
Compare this to
the Al Queda messages i have posted when available and the language
(some of the most
frightening stuff i have ever read) is quite different. Remember at
first he denied it

He probably is involved , at least in part to a broad cover up or
running the brin
washing center. Let us see the passanger list of ALL the planes and see
how many arabs
there where or do you think that Atta went on board as Jose Mendez.
Anyway why would he tell the truth anymore than bush, Blair or Clinton

the hijackers were Arabs, If so, why are they not listed as passangers?
We were given
this supposed mysterious list that appeared on 9/12. they didn't know
it was going to
happen , but they knew and had photos of all of them the next day. Investigations
pointed out that quite a few of these supposed hijackers used 3 or 4 of
the names on
the list which means the names are meaningless. One of them turned out
to be a farmer
outside of Cairo who lost his ID in a bar. Why don't they show videos of
the of the
hijackers boarding? cause they are possibly not who they say they are.
Why were not planes scrambled like they had been over 60 times the
previous year
under less serious conditions

If there were no Arabs on flight 77, there were no Arabs who could
have hijacked flight 77! They would have had to be *on the plane*.
