another minidisk question

Is it possible, Jon (or others) to use the mic I already have for the
Sony Professional Walkman on a minidisk??

save me quite some money right there, since the mic is quite good.

(Although still haven't purchased a minidisk, after obvious reticence
upon reading this forum... :)
