Hi, smart ones:

I know that there have been various places and groups that have, purportedly, archived a lot of the history of the net. IOW, if there was a site up at one time you might be able to find it there.

I've tried to do some searches but haven't really come up with anything. It isn't urgent, but anyone got any ideas for me?

Cheers,
Jon

The Wayback Machine's the thing to search for, and the URL you get's fairly easy to remember as well

http://www.archive.org/

It's got Corporeal Meadows back to 1998, for example.

Thanks Graham, I think I checked them out but I'll try again. I'm trying to resurrect a site that was active *until* 99, but so far haven't been able to find any of it's pages in one of the online web archives.

I've got the uglier stuff all the way back to inception, in 96! I may post a couple for nostalgia's sake.

Thanks,
Jon

Hey Graham!

You Did It! I must have missed a corner of archive.org, because this time the search found just what I was looking for! Boffo work, pal!!

I should also note this is going to help out Australian microtonal composer Greg Schiemer, so your good deeds are travelling to 2 continents today - very swell!

Thanks again,
Jon

***Well, the email address I have from him recently "bounced" so I

informed... :(
