Gentlemen,

While I appreciate that these discussion might bear fruit, I think you are both aware that, for a number of reasons, I have stopped participation in the main tuning list. I have recently posted one or two items, but these were in response to some new people that I wanted to speak to.

I don't want to have to defend or argue my points over there. There is enough material in Paul's paper(s) that could be discussed there without my involvement, and if you want anymore input in the future on the subject I'll be happy to do it here or in private communication.

I'd appreciate if you forward anything to that list with my opinions/blatherings/idiocies in it, that you would check with me first. Thanks for that, in advance.

Cheers,
Jon

***Personally, I was just suggesting Paul repost the very *end* of
that message, where he explains what he's getting at, not the
repartee...

That's sort of what I figured, and I know none of this was done for intentional distress to me. Just wanted to air those feelings so that future posts of that nature wouldn't continue.

Thanks, Joe.

Cheers,
Jon

jon, looking at what i did, i must offer you my sincere apologies. i
blindly forwarded joseph's post *without* reading it, thinking that
included relevant tuning material from me. well, it did, but
unfortunately included unnecessary arguments between you and me that
i would not have intentionally included in the forward (and that we
basically continued and completed on this list already).

if it's ok with you, may i delete the forwarded post in the tuning
list archives, and then only forward the portion with my own
blatherings?

so sorry,
paul

I think that's a swell idea.

T'wasn't intentional, not to worry.

Jon
