this is exactly why i thought joseph was using the term "nutty
professor", and exactly why i followed his lead and began doing so
myself . . . by at least being consistent with his terminology, i
would hope that the discussions could proceed with a maximum of
mutual comprehension, despite the apparent tenth grade humor . . .

***Yes, it's better on this list.

Absolutely! What McLaren, poor soul, wants more than anything else
is for people to talk about him. It's elemental psychology, even for
somebody like myself who has never studied psychology.

Otherwise, why would he act the way he does??

If we want another cognomen for him, fine, but I would refrain
from "McLarening" all over the place, frankly...

***Hi Paul...

What sophomoric humor did you have in mind here?? Just curious...

***You'll have to fill me in sometimes...

Sorry about all the combativeness... Julia's stuff really knows how
to "push my buttons..."

The best thing, I believe, is for me to avoid any of her writings, if
they're like that. I don't care for the judgemental attitude...
