lights in the sky

I just took a walk out side to check out the WTC Memorial.
I live in Rahway, NJ about 30 miles SW of NYC and
I can see two faint beams reaching upwards and
the lights on the clouds and I remember seeing fighter jets
zipping across the sky days after 9/11.

Saturday night I was in town and to get to the Dream House
and then the Holland Tunnel, I drove through China Town and
then Park Row to City Hall and Church Street. Until now I didn't
miss the WTC from the skyline but when I looked up from Park
Row, I really missed that big building. And then I get to Church Street
and there's a tractor hanging rolling by. As I looked South all
I saw was flood lights.

***They're pretty. I can see them from my apartment window.

However the first night was so *clear* there wasn't too much to
reflect against. Most probably, they will be *more* distinct in
other weather conditions...

I'll be in the Village tonight. Maybe I'll remember
to take a look.
