Joseph, I'm sure you'll enjoy these most of all! The tuning list may have existed already, but some of its members were discussing tuning on Usenet -- whose archives have now been restored! I searched for my own posts -- you'll recognize me by my rude manners, if not the content. Get ready to paste together some URLs:

****Hi Paul!

I'm pasting and so on, but I can only get a *few* of these to
work... Is there any way these can be put together into some kind of
readable text files? Could Robert Walker help??

I would enjoy reading the very early posts one of these days. I
think Robert has many of the early Mills posts, but I have never seen
him post the posts! :)

Just go to groups.google.com

and search rec.music.compose for tuning, microtonal, and/or scale.

****Thanks, Paul, I'll do that.

Quite frankly, it's been *years* since I was involved with Usenet and
I didn't even know one could get there from Google... so this has
been an education!
