This is another sneak preview example of what I've been doing for the upcoming
theater production here in Chicago of 'Peer Gynt'....it's a scene change that
represents time passed in sleep. It's on the ambient side ;)

Comments always welcome. Hopefully you'll enjoy it.

Very, very beautiful. My kind of stuff, a good antidote to all the complex music we throw around! One question: does the excerpt end real abruptly, or did I get a bad download?

Thanks for that,
Jon

Jon,

I knew you'd appreciate this one ;) ... thanks for the kind words.

The excerpt ends at about 1:27, with an arpeggio figure, before the which the
background gurgling stops....Peer awakens !!!

If that's what you're hearing, that's what is intended.

Aaron,
Very nice work. This will really help the drama along when part of the
scene. I can see him asleep in my imagination, and the music completes
the image. Great work. When is it performed and where again? Coming to
the Northwest?

Thanks, Prent....it is only for now a Chicago production. If you know of any
fat cat theatre types in Washington, lemme know ;)
