Sorry for the overload on information. Sometimes people get enthusiastic, and when they get inspired to find 'creative' solutions it can end up being more than one can deal with (and often more than one was looking for!).

Hopefully even some of the stuff that might be more involved than you need right now will reward you sometime down the road. In the meantime, just pick through stuff slowly and don't hesitate to post some specific questions. Even if you devise a listening program to be burned on CD, if you have a flexible front-end to make them with you'll be more able to refine the course over time.

these softsynth plugins (like Sonar for the PC)
