Just got home, so I'll write more later about the site. But I happen to know the developer of the site for MPR, and I'll let him know about the problem. Any chance it could be that you need the newest version of Flash, or that you have plug-ins disabled?

I'll post to the list some background on this site, which is a good story and will be a great resource to have around, when I have some time later tonight...

Cheers,
Jon

What does the speed of your computer have to do with it?

Well, *nothing* really, but maybe Paul didn't know that. Beyond the fact that the "never loaded up" business is tied to connection speed (and, really, download speed), wouldn't a computer with more memory, in theory, handle some apps/Flash better.

Paul, Flash applet downloading is dependent on your net connection, not the speed of your computer.

Jon

I waited a long time, and my connection wasn't pushing anything. I
suspect the server was just a little busy.

I don't know anything about Flash, but I assume it's Turing complete,
so some, yes. But none that I've ever seen.

Just in case it will help with debugging, I was able to see the pictures and
play most of the instruments. For at least one the picture never loaded and
I couldn't play it. I'm on a Mac running 9.0.2 and IE latest version.

Everything works great with Mozilla and Flash 6 under Linux.

You go, boy. I performed on it with John back in Feb. No problems from an instrumental standpoint (but he needs to make the O/U row numberings more permanent...)

Still couldn't get the play downloads to work. The browser seems to download something, but nothing happens in the window, even if I leave it for a bit.

Mac OS X 10.2.4
I.E 5.2.2
Flash 6.0 r29

FYI

Mark,

I am using pretty much the same thing, except I have Netscape 7.02, and everything works fine. I have also tried Safari, and it works there too!!!

You might want to download one of those...

***Yes, but wouldn't you rather play the one that's in the little
glowing box right in front of our faces??

No.

And I keep waiting to see if anyone plays the 'broadband' version of the Boo and reports back what they see...
