Microtonal Synths and Info For John

It's a good idea to share info.

Soon I will be dishing out to the group some ways of getting microtones
proper out of the Korg Z1, which is actually /more/ than the manual would
have you believe. John's site does list the capabilities of Synths, but
what it could also do is have some more detailed surveys of some
instruments, with snippets of 'how tos' Which of course needs synth owners
to provide some illuminating words. A synth may provide just the feature
you want but it may be a pig to program it, or vice versa...

I would love to have more how to's at my site. I wrote the one for the
Kurzweil K2x00 equal tempered tunings, and host the Roland GS
information provided by Benjamin Tubb. I can add ones for the TX81Z,
DX7IIFD w/E!, Ensoniq EPS, Reaktor and analog synthesizers, but beyond
that I'm dependent on user contributions.

***Hello John!

I don't mean to pry, but maybe if you put some kind of post on your
page *requesting* such contributions, people would be happy to make
them and you would get more of them. Most people like to gab about
how they get their synths to work...

I guess you say "additions, corrections and questions" but maybe a
sentence with a more *active* solicitation for comments would be
appropriate. Dunno...
