I know. It is amazing.

Just ask Szanto. He's writing a book about it.

Paul,

What kind of ring modulator are you using?

There's one place where it gets real microtonal, due to both guitar
and bass playing through ring modulation . . . but other than that,
and some bending here and there, it's also essentially all 12-
tET . . .

Thanks Paul. Ever heard in your life? Wow.

Players were not micro-masters, but were instructed to "goose" notes
wherever possible.

Organ in a close but non 12-et.

It's a "whatever" scale.

So.....whatever.

Paul,

you guys are just fine. Listening to Grinch right now, tasted Bonita, and
Bagdhad.

Nice.

I'm using the ring modulation effect on the Line 6 Modulation Modeler
(you may recall me telling you at the Microthon that I had one too).
I can control the modulation frequency with the expression pedal. The
bass player has a Korg Toneworks pedal -- one of the effects is ring
modulation.

Thanks. I never tried those. I have a Moogerfooger and a DOD Gonkulator.
