Hey J. P... Great opportunity. Hope the show goes well. Maybe later you
can post a bit of the music so we can hear it...

Cheers,
Rick

Thanks, Rick... for the good wishes....!!

I actually turned the opportunity down, but thought about it
overnight.... Frankly, I'm sure if I went out *looking* for such a
thing it would never happen...

You mean after posting all the performance times, etc., you aren't
doing the music? Maybe next time wait til you've got a contract
before announcing!

But if Linda is still in the play that would be worth supporting...

Cheers,
Jon (who really wants people to think before they type...<g>)

Did you read the post, Jon...?

I said I turned it down but thought about it overnight and
subsequently accepted it...

Joe,

Sending this on-list so people won't think I'm out to get ya!

Gad, no kidding Joe! Do you think I would write if I *didn't*? You said:

>I actually turned the opportunity down, but thought about it >overnight.... Frankly, I'm sure if I went out *looking* for such a thing >it would never happen...

So after you announced the play then you write that you turned it down but thought about it. You didn't say but thought about it and did *not* say you'd accept it again!

Not trying to be a butt at all, since I'm trying to foster a good environment here, just that what you wrote wasn't clear *at all* as to the final outcome. And with that, I'm *stoked* that you're doing it and reiterate that we'd love to hear the music.

I just went last week to a truly magical "Twelfth Night" here at the Old Globe in San Diego, directed by Jack O'Brian (of "Full Monty" and ... another recent Tony winner). Music was not period but very well done, and the rest of the production (in a beautiful outdoor setting) was sublime. I hope you have a good production as well.

Cheers,
Jon

That's OK, Jon... sorry if I was unclear...

No, I never would announce something like that and take up bandwidth
if I weren't serious intent on going through with it!

Heck, why don't I just learn to assume things like that?!? We'll get it right one of these days, but I'm learning as I go. Onward (and thanks for the comment on the piece...)

Cheers,
Jon
