Yes that's what i noticed. I wish i had my notes here to tell you what i
tuned the horn to. It will reappear and will post. a Juilliard French horn
player who when i put against a tuner, didn't move a bit. Kirsten Barrow.
Too bad they aren't in G, you would be able to get more of the diamond.

Yes, there is a lot that can be done there. However, we still come
up against prejudices. Francis Orval did a *wonderful* recital at
Merkin Hall a few years back, and we got a Times notice.

*However* the reviewer, who will remain unmentioned, lumped all
the "alternately tuned" pieces together (well my *name* got in, but
that's it...) and then said that Orval "was a good player when he
played a *decent* piece of music like the Hindemith horn sonata that
closed the program, rather than the microtonal works..."
