Jon & everyone else,

Please visit
www.geocities.com/harold_fortuin

I've put one short atonal 31-ET keyboard piece up
there (Remembrance) as an MP3 file. When time permits,
I hope to have excerpts of numerous pieces available
online as mp3's.

If you follow the link to my old site, you'll also
find details on my two commercially released
recordings, one of which is a Nancarrowesque piece for
electronic piano called "Untitled #3: A Transcendental
Etude for Computer-controlled Keyboard" on Vienna
Modern Masters 2008. Both that and VMM3003 are
hopefully still available. My Nancarrowesque
dissertation, "Branchings" for computer-controlled
synthesizer, features more sophisticated tempo
relations and includes some screaming fast 30-ET
passages, but it's not yet out on the market.

I've also burned a few one-off CDs of very polished
and slightly unpolished recordings of my microtonal,
mostly extended ET tonality oeuvre, mostly for the
Clavette microtonal MIDI keyboard. Some will be used
for promotional purposes.

Soundly yours,
Harold Fortuin
Since 2001 in metro Boston
Composing since 1978

Thanks for that. In case anyone was wondering, I wrote Harold privately asking where one can hear his music, as I've been a fan ever since first hearing earlier pieces on the Tuning Punks site. I'll look forward to the new one, and I encourage Harold to keep at it until a full CD of material materializes!

Cheers,
Jon

***This was nice, but, if I had the right link, it was only 16
seconds long! That's *minimalism* for sure...
