We were so poor, we used our playmate's hands.
It was louder and of course microtunable too.

Which was louder, the action of the spokes on the hands, or the screams?

Not to make fun of anyone's spoke music, but this naturally begs the
question: Were the spokes _lucytuned_ or just plain looney tuned?
