Wuerschmidt temperament

Apropos several recent discussions, here is an excerpt from "Annette of the Plapes" which demonstrates Wuerschmidt temperament.

The first 20 seconds of the excerpt demonstrates the primary or defining "comma pump" of the temperament, as it goes from "I" to "i" using augmented triads to run through all eight 5/4s, arriving at the pure 6:1.

Notice that the 7th generator gives you a 24:5, so it is "natural" to go from I to i (simply drop in the starting tone under the last two generators).

Glad you like it- the work overall makes me laugh because it's "5-limit Just" but actually obscenely "microtonal".

The Wuerschmidt and Hanson commas were two I had in mind in the recent discussion about Romantic music. It seems to me that these are very natural, perhaps even unavoidable, objects of temperament given a tendency to Just performance combined with a love of augmented and/or diminished chords.
