Re: [tuning] Charles Ives Society RA excerpts

Interesting take...my realization of the Ives "Universe" is not available to
be broadcast in any fashion (over 1 minute 58 seconds) based on the demands
of Musicians Union local #802.

My plan is to do a studio recording rather than fight the union which has
problems with Lincoln Center and doesn't want the venue released (rather than
the music).

Regarding Porter and other issues concerning what I believe the greatest
American symphony, there is "Ives's 'Universe'" soon to be available (once
it's fully edited and published).

Have you seen the page? I'm just basing what I wrote on the fact that
they have a "play" icon next to your realization. The page also says
of the Universe, "for each version below, sc and pts for rent."
