iTunes account without a credit card

Cult of Mac has posted an article linking a YouTube video with detailed instructions for opening an iTunes account without supplying a credit card number.

This probably would be considered a bug, from Apple's point of view, and might be closed at any time, but it apparently worked as of yesterday.
