Well, I had this tugging at the back of my brain so I popped this into Excel.

12th root phi 17 edo
69.42419 70.58824
138.84838 141.17647
208.27257 211.76471
277.69677 282.35294
347.12096 352.94118
416.54515 423.52941
485.96934 494.11765
555.39353 564.70588
624.81772 635.29412
694.24191 705.88235
763.6661 776.47059
833.0903 847.05882
902.5145 917.64706
971.9387 988.23529
1041.3629 1058.82353
1110.7871 1129.41176
1180.2113 1199.999997

12th root of Phi is just a mis-tuned 17.

Now to think of something better to do with that $30 strat....

Have I suggested yet 15-equal, which will bring happiness to everyone
within a 50 mile radius of your guitar at all times?

LOL!

I think 15's a much better guitar tuning than it is a piano tuning. Say, don't you have a 15-tone on the way?

...with no octave. Whether that's a good thing or a bad one is your call. :)

I'd still be interested in seeing what you could do with 22. It looks like a good guitar temperament, with familiar yet strange chord shapes. But maybe I'm just a sissy about not using scales with good fifths. :)

Jake

Even 20 cents off it sounds like an octave.

Play c and then f an octave + 4th above
