Finding an underlying equal division

Hi all,

Has anyone here looked into how to find a best-fit underlying equal division of the octave given a just/unequal scale? Maybe there's even a function in Scala, which I could use if there is.

Try Scala's "Fit to mode of et" on the Approximate pulldown menu.
