the sound of dreams?

Had a crazy idea while half asleep- Has anyone ever tried
recording SOAEs during dreaming? REM atonia generally keeps us
from moving, but I wonder if it stops SOAEs... would they reflect
any dialog in the dream? Might be a good googling subject to see
if anyone's ever tried it.

actually, using ear buds as microphones this could be done, given clean
amplification.
