Dear friends,

Some of you know that the Piagui scales were deduced by a somewhat complex process and helped by the progression of musical cells. Until now, the interesting cell frequency relations were the only reasons to examine the progression; starting from note C = Cell number 0 = 1, after 612 succesive products of three commas named M, J, U, the first octave 2 was generated and among the 612 cells many known consonances emerged. The use of 11 decimal digits was the more suitable method to achieve the results and it is obvious that it is not a common case that the following 12 cells are the initial elements of the second octave. Cell # 612 + 12 cells = cell # 624 equals (9/8)^6 and #624/#612 = 1.013643264777= pythagorean comma . These self forming values include (9/8)^(1/2), (9/8), (9/8)^(3/2).... etc, other features like the presence of cyclic relations of the pythagorean comma between ANY pair of cells distanced by 12 cell places. It is not possible to detail most of its properties.

Recently, the progression was arranged by 34 groups of 18 cells, that ends on cell # 612, the octave.

I want to make some experiments by using the information contained in the progression, the target is to recognize different kind of consonances and chords. The idea is to construct some kind of guitar diapason (a piece of wood) without the sound box with 5 or 7 strings. The main problem I have is to get an adjustable fret for each string. Microphone amplifier, 7 digits electronic counter and other facilities are available.

May I have your advise on how can I get these fret position regulators which could be placed into the wooden diapason?- I heard that some companies sell guitars with this type of regulators, I would need to contact them.

Ozan knows of a guy in Turkey that makes classical guitars with adjustable
frets. I suggest you ask him.

Yes I know! :) I want an electric one so bad! Someone on NotOnlyMusic contacted Tolgahan and enquired about the price. Since it's a quality classical it was several thousand dollars. But surely an electric would be much cheaper.
