Names for Various Just Triads

Are there commonly-accepted names for many Just triads, other than those that span a perfect fifth (or their inversions)? I'm talking triads like 5:6:7, 16:18:21, 9:11:15, 8:10:11, etc.

Not really. There are diatonic-based names, but of these chords
I think only "septimal diminished triad" would be common enough
to use without giving the numbers. The closest thing I know of
to a systematic naming scheme is this attempt by Dave Keenan
http://dkeenan.com/Music/IntervalNaming.htm
which only covers dyads IIRC. -Carl

Cool, I'll stick with the numbers. Less descriptive but easier to parse.

Scala does have a list (Play > Chord...) but it's just a
hodgepodge of stuff like "contracting diminished seventh"
which doesn't mean anything to anyone. As it happens, none
of the chords Igs mentioned are listed except the "diminished
triad". -C.
