It is important to realize when posting here that the language of
discourse is rather specialized, and although there is some disagreement
on terminology, most of the terms and concepts used have rather specific
and precise meanings. Thus, when one wishes to introduce a new tuning
system, a new way to look at musical structures, etc., is is best to sit
back for awhile and absorb the usage before presenting your ideas, lest
you be misunderstood. Folks here are in the habit of immediately and
bluntly correcting misusage and misconception, and that's just the way it
is. Joe Monzo's online music theory dictionary can be useful when you see
an unfamiliar term: http://www.ixpres.com/interval/dict/index.htm.
