Indeed it ("Seventh Heaven") is a beautiful scale.
And it's interesting to note that EVEN John's "Seventh Heaven" scale and that odd 14/9 "augmented" fifth, the scale has a lot of Mohajira flavors in it.

I keep on seeing this pattern, that whenever I try to make a very well-balanced scale I end up with Mohajira, Meantone, or a combination of the two...and, if I have it right, Mohajira is pretty much to the Middle-East when Meantone is to the West.

BTW, this version of Seventh Heaven Jacques posted strikes me as very evenly spaced and potentially useful

"or 15/8, with a 56/45 as a tempered "turkish" third :
1/1
54/49
9/8
60/49
56/45
4/3
72/49
3/2
81/49
12/7
90/49
15/8
2/1"

I'm just wondering...why not use 82/49 instead of 81/49 to bring that ratio closer to 5/3?

It's the 60:49:40 hyper-neutral thirds magic... not very 7th-limit by itself !

Yes, Mohajira is an oriental "hidden side" of Meantone...

Sure, I noticed this superb meantone sixth in here - I just wanted to stay in John's original 7th limit.
But you're right, we could even have a full diatonic in here :
[4/3 1/1 3/2 55/49 82/49 5/4 15/8]...
