Microthon 2000 is now planned for November 11, 2000 at the Quaker Meeting
House of NYC @ East 15th Street and Rutherford (between 1st and 2nd Avenues).
There are only a few details to work out. The room is great and almost no
one outside the Quaker community has heard a concert at this location before.
It will be in the round and seat upwards of 700. It's all wood, with little
echo and a natural reverb, more to the dry-er (or cleaner) side.

The list has provided several interesting programming ideas and I will be
more involved in programming upon returning from Russia on April 24. One
idea is to recognize Bill Colvig and Lou Harrison by premiering "Simfony in
Free Style" on November 11 in conjunction with Veterans Day, as Bill was a
veteran. Nathan Fuhr has volunteered to conduct the work.

My promise is to an incredible event.

I've been to the Quaker Meeting House several times for conferences with my
fellow Feldenkrais Practitioners (that's what I do when I'm not making
music) and have thought that the big room would be fabulous for concerts.
Great choice!
