the pitch fork works?

I am considering a several layered like effect with different tunings each giving the music nothing to 'grab' onto and harmonize with or even moray with, if.., that was going to occur, due to the timing of the pitch-forks I know a pitch fork is meant to organize tuning but what if we are to disorganize tuning? create a position in the composition where its sounds fork into two or three different directions changing at different rates?

I am looking for help with this in the programming end, if there is a way to do this in a controlled fashion?

(Caleb the pedant adds punctuation for anyone having trouble parsing)

I am considering a multi-layered effect with different tunings. Each tuning-layer gives the music nothing to 'grab' onto and harmonize with or even moray* with.

That is, * if.* that (the aforementioned moraying) was going to occur, due to the timing of the pitch-forks!

I know a pitch fork is meant to organize tuning, but what if we are to disorganize tuning?

That is, create a position in the composition where its sounds fork into two or three different directions changing at different rates?

Is there is a way to do this in a controlled fashion?
