Has anyone read this study, or know anything about it, or know
anywhereabouts it might be about?

The diatonic foundation of hearing
Andrew G. Pikler, Acta Psychologica, Volume 11, 1955, Pages 432-445,
ISSN 0001-6918, DOI: 10.1016/S0001-6918(55)80102-3.

Or this one? The free full text is supposed to be on this page, but it
seems to be linked improperly:

Genesis off Absolute Pitch in the Audio Spectrum
Andrew G. Pikler, J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 26, 931 (1954), DOI:10.1121/1.1927930

I've never heard anything about Pikler in the modern psychoacoustics
literature that I've looked up... have his ideas been supplanted with
newer ones? His ideas on AP seem really interesting, but I've never
heard them cited at all.
