Seems to me your extra tones would be harmonics of your fundamental tone.

Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. I'm not talking about the harmonics of the
fundemental tones - those are easy to see and understand. If you take a look
at the Spectrogram - several tones not in the harmonic series show up that
wouldn't be there if the slopes of the two bent notes were equal. In the
MIDI example the slopes are not equal and new tones show up. I will include
a zipped bitmap of the gram I am referring to.

I realize that this may not be relevant to this list unless you think of it
as "Infinite-tet" (as Infinite as my equipment can handle anyway).

I didn't see any attachments to this e-mail. Could you put up this zipped
bitmap on the internet, or at least e-mail me a copy?
